MADISON BURGNER
I graduated from the University of Tampa with a B.S. in Marketing. Over the 4 years in Tampa, I learned to be independent and experienced many valuable lessons from professors, friends, and family. I was on the University of Tampa Women's Club Soccer team all 8 semesters. I learned how to be a leader and social media manager while running the social media accounts for 3 years. I was given the opportunity to study abroad on the Gold Coast of Australia at Bond University during my Spring 2020 semester. Through all my marketing courses and internships, I have discovered my passion for content production, and social and digital media marketing. I am always up to date with social media trends and have an eye for creating aesthetically pleasing content.
Upon graduation, I was an Account Strategist Intern for Adapting Social. After my internship concluded, I accepted a role with Rank + Rally at Tropicana Field as the E-commerce Admin, and after 5 months received a promotion to be the E-commerce and Social Media Manager.
In November of 2022, I joined Vinik Sports Group as the Event Marketing Coordinator. In my current role, I manage day-to-day social media operations for three accounts, collaborate with the Tampa Bay Lightning, and other business entities while maintaining a consistent brand voice across all platforms. I brainstorm, shoot, and edit creative show announcements, event promotion, show day content, and organic content which has helped increase our AMALIE Arena Instagram following 61.7%, and TikTok following 1779.3% over two years. I develop and execute marketing plans, promotions, and strategies from when a show is booked, through announcement, on sale, and event day, including marketing recap reports for each event.
I am responsible for reporting settlement costs, leading real-time event coverage for social media, escorting external media outlets, assist in executing artist gifting and amenities, and building strong relations with promoters and artist teams on event days. I communicate and work well with internal teams such as creative, ticket office, event services, guest services, game presentation, and partnerships to create world-class plus events.
A little bit about myself, I enjoy taking pictures, exploring new places, traveling, and hanging out with friends in my free time.
I love all kinds of music, and attending live events.
I love long walks, hot yoga, iced oat milk caramel lattes, and swimming in the ocean.
